Cicret Bracelet

The concept :

In November 2014, we launched the video of a concept which symbolizes our ideal in terms of wearable technology: The Cicret Bracelet. With wearables gaining some traction, smartphones and tablets are by no means the onlymobile devices around nowadays. Now, though, Cicret is looking to take things a step farther and turn your arm into a smartphone.

With the Cicret Bracelet, do whatever you want on your arm.

Key Features

  • Works on every skin colour
  • Phone screen mirroring (Iphone, Android, Windows Phone)
  • 32 GB or 64GB (TBD)
  • Android OS
  • Removable battery
  • Water resistant
The Bracelet includes a pico projector and a line of eight closeness sensors that point towards the client's lower arm. It works as a standalone gadget and, when enacted with a spot of the wrist, extends an Android interface onto the clients arm, much like Chris Harrison's Skinput research. The vicinity sensors distinguish where the client's finger or fingers are and permit them to associate with the interface as they would whatever other Android gadget.

There are potential advantages to turning ordinary objects (or, in this case, limbs) into mobile devices, but projected touch screens typically lack the responsiveness and visual clarity of the glass screens we're used to. This projected keyboard, for example, delivered a poor typing experience.

It should be interesting to see if the Cicret Bracelet can improve on the technology, to make something we'd actually want to use.

Somewhere else, the Cicret Bracelet includes an accelerometer and a vibration module, alongside a LED for warnings. Network is given by method for WiFi, Bluetooth and a Micro USB port. It is required to be made accessible in 16 GB and 32 GB models.

The gadget will permit clients to send and get messages, scan the web and play recreations. It will likewise be feasible for clients to combine it with a current cell phone, answer approaching telephone calls and initiate the speakerphone usefulness on the their cell phone.
